As an artist, Ojars is passionate about reflecting his life experiences through art. He does not believe in creating art for the sake of fashion or money, but does believe in utilizing color, dimension and composition in his paintings. He is always searching for new interpretations and color palates that enrich the viewer's thoughts and emotions. His goal is to move his audience to higher dimensions of solitude, love, happiness or even outrage yet maintaining a sense of reality.

.Within the hilltop villages of Provence, buildings nestle together along narrow winding passages that lead to the valleys below. Some are set dramatically on cliffs or steep embankments. Others are simple yet unique homes with tiled roofs, blue shutters, and accents of flowers and ivy. The breathtaking French countryside is a majestic backdrop to these human artifacts - an ever-present reminder of the interplay of man and nature. It is this dynamic that inspired these works.
